Eating Animals Wins Environmental Media Association’s Documentary Award
On Thursday, May 30th, Eating Animals starring Poultry Farmer Frank Reese won the top prize for documentary film at the 29th annual Environmental Media Association Awards. The awards honor productions "that increase public awareness of environmental issues and inspire personal action." Based on the bestselling book by Jonathan Safran Foer, narrated by producer Natalie Portman, and directed and produced by Christopher Quinn, Eating Animals spotlights the heroic farmers, whistleblowers, and innovators who are standing up, against all odds, to fight the industrial factory farming system and provide a new way forward.
