This package includes:

Cave Dweller Goat Cheese, one 6 oz package, FireFly Farms, MD
Aged eight-to-twelve months to develop its sweet and sharp flavor. Made similarly to Parmesan, the curd is cooked as it sets, making it denser and harder as its nuttiness and complexity grows with each passing day. It is age sealed, so the resulting cheese is higher moisture.

Shelburne Cheddar Cheese, one 8 oz package, Shelburne Farms, VT
This two year aged cheddar cheese is delicious and balanced: bright, fruity, and sharp, with a creamy texture and a long finish.

Bloomsday, one 9 oz piece, Cato Corner Farm, CT
Bloomsday is a raw cows’ milk cheese with a firmer texture, fabulous nutty flavor, and addictive lingering aftertaste. If you like cheddar and Manchego, you’ll find your mix in Bloomsday. Aged 4-6 months with a medium bite and lots of depth.

Pleasant Ridge Reserve, one 8 oz piece from Uplands Cheese, WI
A true expression of the terroir of the low grassy valleys of southwestern Wisconsin where this award winning cheese is made from pastured cow's milk. Flavors of toasted nuts and caramel with a coffee-brown rind.

Caraway Rye Crackers, one 5 oz pack from Talbott & Arding, NY
The rye flour in these delicious snappy (not mealy!) crackers comes from Farmer Ground in Trumansburg, NY where grain is grown organically and milled fresh. The sunflower oil is cold pressed in the Hudson Valley and Seneca salt finishes them.

Heritage Foods is expanding our cheese selections in partnership with the Anne Saxelby Legacy Fund (ASLF), whose mission is to provide monthlong paid apprenticeships for young adults to live on sustainable farms — to work, learn, and be inspired to create change in their communities. We have selected our favorite domestically produced cheeses from ASLF partner farms.
