SWALLOW TAIL TOMME CHEESE — a complex, aged, raw milk cheese that is tart, buttery, and earthy by Stony Pond Farm in Vermont, one 8-9 oz package
Swallow Tail Tomme Cheese by Stony Pond Farm one 8-9 oz package
An aged, raw-milk cheese made in small batches, Swallow Tail Tomme has a semi-firm texture and a flavor that is complex, creamy, and earthy. The raw milk allows for the flavor of place, in this case the pastures of northwestern Vermont, to come through in every bite. This cheese is cave-aged for at least 60 days until it emerges with a delicious, fresh taste, ready for your cheese board.

Heritage Foods is expanding our cheese selections in partnership with the Anne Saxelby Legacy Fund (ASLF), whose mission is to provide monthlong paid apprenticeships for young adults to live on sustainable farms — to work, learn, and be inspired to create change in their communities. We have selected our favorite domestically produced cheeses from ASLF partner farms for pairing with Heritage meats!
